Understanding Your Needs Before Full Assessment at Freesia Health
At Freesia Health, we recognize that many individuals and families seek answers for mental health or developmental difficulties and often view ADHD or Autism assessments as potential explanations. However, when a diagnosis is not confirmed, people can understandably feel disappointed and left wondering, "So what is wrong with me?"
To address this, we offer an optional, paid triage and consultation service. Through this service, we send you a questionnaire to gather detailed information about your experiences. Our clinicians then review your responses carefully to form an initial opinion, helping to guide which assessment pathway would be most appropriate for you.
This approach can prevent the emotional and financial burden of undergoing a full ADHD assessment (only to find it's not ADHD), followed by an Autism assessment (only to find it's not Autism), and still needing further evaluation for other possible issues such as mild learning difficulties.
At Freesia, our clinicians are committed not just to confirming or excluding ADHD or Autism, but to truly understanding your presentation. They aim to provide you with possible explanations (differential diagnoses) and will either start a treatment plan with you or recommend additional input from other specialists within Freesia Health — often at a subsidized rate.
